Today, Sunday, July 24, 2016 is Parents’ Day. And while it may make me a bad son, I didn’t actually know that day existed until a few days ago.
First off, no, I’m not a parent, at least not in the conventional sense. And I know that having parents makes me about as much as an expert on parenting as owning a basketball makes me an NBA star.
Either way, like Kahlil Gibran says, I have thoughts.
Since we’ve established that I’m not an expert on parenting I’m just going to come out and say what I believe is the one thing (not to be confused with the only thing) that all great parents do.
Parents believe when you don’t, when you won’t, when you can’t. And their belief is unshakable. (Tweet this)
I can say the above from experience, but I’d love to know what do you think is the greatest quality of a good parent?
