After I published Hope In Every Raindrop I thought I was done with the story of Kyle Walker, King, and Katie. Then I got a significant amount of emails requesting more from the world of Hope.
At that point I hadn’t really thought about “the world of Hope.”
But a few weeks of brainstorming and I decided that taking the readers back to where it all began for Kyle and King would an awesome experience. So, I wrote Faith In Every Footstep, which would become Book 1 of the Faith, Hope, and Love series.
If you’re on my Dream Team then you got an email about a month ago asking for you input on how to better tie together the story of Faith and Hope. The overwhelming response was to keep Faith as Book 1, and Hope as Book 2, but to add a few bits and pieces to Hope.
So, that’s what I did.
What are the updates?
I thought about listing all the updates here, but it just didn’t seem like a good way to share them. I feel like it’s more exciting to find them naturally, even if that means re-reading Hope.
Do you have to re-read the book? No, definitely not.
The updates consist of about 500-1000 words, which are more or less sprinklings of some plot points from Faith. The story itself remains unchanged, but it flows better from one book to another.
How to get the updates
There are 2 options, so make sure you read both.
Option 1: Auto Updates
Unfortunately Amazon does not provide automatic updates and/or notify readers of changes to a book unless you specifically opt-in for these changes.
The main reason they don’t do this is because occasionally people lose notes, highlights, etc. that are stored in the Kindle program. According to Amazon…
If you want to turn on automatic book updates, follow the directions below:
Step 1.Go to the Manage Your Content and Devices page.
Step 2.Select “Automatic Book Update” under the Settings tab.
Step 3.Select “On” from the dropdown menu.
Option 2: Download the book from me
If you have any trouble with this second option drop an email to help@bookfunnel.com and they will walk you through it.
Book 3
I talked about Book 1 and 2 above. What about Book 3?
Well, I’m currently working on Book 3 and I don’t want to give too much away, but it will resolve the story lines between Kyle and Katie and Kyle and Jenna in a way that you won’t see coming.
I am a dog lover so was pleased to see an author who writes with dogs in mind.
I can’t wait to read the 3rd book!!!! I just finished the 2nd edition of “Hope in Every Raindrop”!! It turned into a marathon reading experience. It’s been a long time since I read the 1st edition so I was surprised I could’nt put the book down until I finished late last night! The changes were subtle but I liked that you tied the two books together.

I just finished both Hope and Faith. You have spoiled me, I can’t seem to get into the new book I’ve picked up. Please hurry with “Love”. You have become one of my favorites. Love your stories, I just need more. Blessings!
I loved Faith in Every Footstep and Hope in Every Raindrop so much I have read them both twice. I am waiting anxiously for “Love”. You have a great talent writing about the dogs and relationship with their human. I think I will be disappointed in many other writers.
