Have you ever read one of your favorite books multiple times only to find out something new each time? Surprisingly that’s how it felt every time I’ve finished re-reading Hope In Every Raindrop. However, this last time was the first time I read through it with comments back from my editor. I have officially read through my book three times, with at least two (if not three) more re-reads to go!
Everything was done via Microsoft Word (track changes) even though most writers are recommending Scrivener. I may be switching soon, but I actually had no problems with Word…so far.
Something I have had a problem with lately is book ideas. Everywhere I go I see nothing but potential plot lines, scenes, or dialogue. I had to create a separate notebook on Evernote just to jot all these ideas down. I’m actually looking forward to receiving the second round back from my editor so I can focus on just one book, instead of dreaming about others.
Even though you won’t be reading this post until Monday, it’s currently Sunday afternoon and the smell of pimiento cheeseburgers grilling in the kitchen is starting to distract me. That, and it’s about 55 F outside (which is super rare in Florida) and there’s not a single cloud in the sky. So that’s it for now.
